What type of programs do you present at Little Lambs?
We offer a three year old half day program both am and pm two days a week; Tues. and Thurs.
We also offer a four year old program half day both am and pm three days a week; M.W.F.

How old do the children have to be to enter the programs?
We follow the same standards set down by NYSED for the public schools. Our three year olds must be three by Dec. 1st and our 4 year olds must be four by Dec. 1st of their enrollment year.
What skills are being addressed at the three and four year old levels?
Our teachers are certified by accredited universities and our programs are based on the skills for the appropriate age, as well as being in alignment with the state standards. For more detail see our progress reports which can be found under forms on our website: stmaryslittlelambs.org
Is the school registered with NYSED?
We are presently gathering all data to submit to NYSED to be registered as a voluntary non public preschool.
Is religion taught at St. Mary’s Little Lambs?
We are a catholic preschool and the children do say a prayer before snack. Some of our songs address God by name. Our Christmas show reflects the birth of Jesus as well as the traditional Christmas festivities celebrated by all.
Is Little Lambs a peanut free school?
Yes, Little Lambs is a peanut allergy free school.
What size are your classes?
We abide by the state requirements when it comes to the class size. There can never be less than six children in a class and the ratio for three year olds is 8:1 (teacher) four year olds 10:1 (teacher) and five year olds 15:1 (teacher) Our classrooms have two adults in each room; for each teacher there is also a teacher’s aide.
