The Home Study Program uses the Faith and Life Series, Third Edition, by Ignatius Press.
The Ad Hoc Committee to Oversee the Use of the Catechism, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, has found this catechetical text [The Faith and Life Series] to be in conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Faith and Life series was the first catechetical series to be found to be in conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church without any need for change. That was several years ago now, when the USCCB implemented the rules of conformity. All the English texts of the current, Faith and Life Third Edition series have been reviewed by the USCCB’s Subcommittee on the Catechism and have been found to be in Conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
